I’ve always been a social girl and love being surrounded by friends. But after becoming a mom I found that life shifted just a little bit and regular outings with friends were fewer and farther between. Sure we would get together for play dates, or have other families over for dinner but nights out with the girls were hard to come by. It’s something I’ve tried hard to make a monthly priority, because connecting with girlfriends is good for my soul! Nothing beats a fun Girls Night Out and with the new BJs Restaurant Dine In Order Ahead App it’s easy to enjoy quality time catching up without all the hassle of dining out!
I wanted to make this months Girls Night Out extra special and fun so I decided to deliver pizza box invitations. I think invitations set the tone for any event, and since it had been a while since our last outing I knew we needed to sprinkle in a little extra fun. I went to BJs pizza and asked for several small pizza boxes and then asked my sweet friend Rebekah from A Blissful Nest to create a simple invitation for the box.
My girlfriends are part of my heart and soul and I’m so lucky to have amazing friends that I can just be myself with. Which is why I was excited to deliver these fun heart shaped pizza invitations, which you can download here.
BJ’s Restaurant is a favorite spot and with their new Mobile Apps available on iPhone and Android they’ve made it easy to enjoy a night out. With the new app you now have the ability to place food and drink orders for dine-in before even stepping into the restaurant. Everyone met here at my house so we could check out the menu online and use the new Dine in Order Ahead app. It gave us the chance to catch up and gab before heading out to dinner. I really loved how easy the app was to use and it even lets you tell them what time you’ll be arriving.
Once at the restaurant they took our drink order and before we knew it drinks and our appetizers were being delivered. We had the Crispy Fried Artichokes which were amazing, seriously you have to order them next time you go to BJ’s! Our pizzas arrived and we filled up on great conversation and good food. Our lovely waitress stopped by to check on us throughout the meal and even managed to talk us into ordering dessert (which we purposefully did not order before hand since we were trying to be good, but it’s good to know you can still add to your order even if you use the Dine in Order Ahead app.) We had the Pizookie Trio and told our waitress to surprise us with her favorites, the new Salted Caramel one the crowd favorite and worth every single extra mile I had to run at the gym!
After lots of laughs it was finally time to go. I simply used the super quick Mobile Pay feature to pay our bill and we were on our way. A receipt was emailed to me which is a great feature and makes it easy to share it with everyone else who needs a copy.
I don’t use tons of apps, most of the ones on my phone are apps my kids have downloaded to keep them entertained when we are out and about. But, I can honestly say that I love this new app from BJ’s Restaurant. Everything about it was easy to use, I loved that we didn’t have to wait to be seated, our food arrived quickly and most importantly I was able to enjoy a much needed Girls Night Out with some of my favorite friends!
